Most all of us who've been in SL for any time at all have had a Vista Animation Override (AO) at one time or other and they are still one of the leaders in the realistic motion capture technology that allows us to feel semi-human in world and not move around like robotic newbs. So this is for those newer to SL who are still trying to figure out how to denewbify (can I make up that word?) themselves.
Older AOs are as little as L$200 but for the best and most realistic new AOs you're going to spend L$1,900 which is about US$8, or less than the price of a movie or two beers or two gallons of milk (to put it in perspective). So if you are going to hang out a while, get one.
